HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me!
Wow it's hard to believe it's my birthday again.Well technically it's my brothers birthday as well, since I'm a twin.
We were born Aug. 14,1964 in the country town of Laurens,SC. My parents didn't even know they were having twins until my mother started into labor a few minutes AFTER they had taken her into recovery. My mom told the doctor,"Doc I'm going back into labor",the doctor of course said,"Naw,You're just having after birth contractions". My mom told him since she had already had three children, she knew what labor felt like. He looked at her and immediately told the nurse,"Hey, she going back into labor get her back in there." Guess you had to be there to realize how funny it really was.
Anyway I'm forty-five today, don't plan on getting any older, ok., I don't plan on counting any more years. Told my brother he's forty-five I'm only thirty-five. I'm not vain by any means it's just a little strange humor in my family, like me telling my sister, who just turned 48 on the ninth, that she's fifty (for the past six years.HAHA,LOL)
My life is really on an up swing right now and if I can get a digital camera I'll download some faux stainedglass window pictures I've been working on for my church.(They're not so bad for someone who can't paint or didn't know anything about what they were doing.)
I've really not been doing much more in the way of art lately, but hopefully that's going to change.
I see the world in the perspective of art, and I mean that literally. I see all things in color, contrast, shading, motion, perspective, shape, you name it as an artistic expression and I've looked at it through those eyes. Too bad I do'nt have as much talent to express it as I see it. MORE PRACTICE!!!
Thanx for letting me rant and even more so for reading it. Time to go make the donuts,LOL,(meaning time to get things done in my art world)
